Efficacy Experiment in the Control of Cossus orientalis Gaede with Biological Pesticides

FENG Wu-jian et al(Xuzhou Higher Vocational College of Biological Engineer,Xuzhou,Jiangsu 221151)  
The study aimed to control Cossus orientalis gaede with cornus officinalis as host by biological pesticides.With Bacillus thuringiensis,25% deltamethrin,50% fenitrothion,1.8% abamectin EC and 5% Yitaibao as test pesticides,the efficacy experiment was conducted on C.orientalis by five sites sampling method in 2005～2006.The control effects of 5 pesticides on C.orientalis all was good and significant after pesticides application for 7 d,being over 90%.But their availabilities were not quite deal,in which the effect of Bacillus thuringiensis was some better relatively.Biological pesticides would neither harm natural enemies nor influence the ornamental and medicinal values of host,which all could be used in production.
