Breeding and Application of Super Hybrid Rice New Combination II you No.7

KUANG Hao-chi et al (Rice and Sorghum Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Luzhou Branch of National Rice Improvement center,Luzhou,Sichuan 646100)  
II you No.7 was a new super hybrid rice combination middle maturing indica hybrid rice developed from the CMS line II-32A crossed to a restorer luhui 17 which bred by Rice and Sorghum Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It had extremely high yield and high-stable yielding ability,good quality,strong cold and heat resistance and middle maturing.The combination was examined and approved by Sichuan Crop Variety Approval Committee in April 1998.And the combination was listed one of the national fifty predominant paddy rice and one of the 28 point expansion super rice by Ministry of Agriculture in 2005.
