Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project and Sustainable Development of Regional Economy

Sustainable development of the economy in reception basin was expatiated through analyzing the middle route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project,economic development in reception basin,deficiency of water resources which restraining its economic development and optimized disposition of water resources of the middle route.When carrying out the middle route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project,several suggestions should be adopted including fostering the concept of saving water,building up a water saving society,developing water saving industry,reinforcing the dynamics of eliminating pollution,resolving the problem of immigrant settlement in reservoirs,conducting ecological repair plan of reception basins,establishing new management systems of water resources and suitable mechanism of water price formation and so on.
