Effects of Corncob-kernel Cultivation Material on Hypha Growth and Yield of Pleurotus eryngii

Different quantities of kernel were added to corncob cultivation materials to study the hypha growth and the yield performance of Pleurotus eryngii and analyze its economic benefit.The results showed that hypha growth rate became slow and hypha growth potential strengthened with the increasing of kernel amount in corncob cultivation materials.Adding kernel had a yield-increasing effect on P.eryngii,but adding more kernel didn't always increased the yield.The yield of treatment B(adding 12% kernel) was highest and its biological transformation rate reached 73%,which had a significant difference with that of treatment A and C and had an extremely significant difference with that of CK.Calculated by the proportion of input to output,the order of the economic benefits in different treatment was as follows: treatment B treatment A CK treatment C.
