Study on the Application Effect of Fertilizer of Potassium and Magnesium Sulfate on Flue-cured Tobacco

[Objective] The purpose of the study was to provide basis for popularizing fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate and the high quality cultivation technique of flue-cured tobacco.[Method] The influences of the fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate on the biological and economic traits,yield and yield value of flue-cured tobacco were studied in field plot experiment with 4 kinds of K fertilizer treatments.[Result] The growth periods of flue-cured tobacco in treatments were basically uniform.The plant height,stem thickness,leaf length and width on different parts and single leaf weight in the treatment applied with compound fertilizer all exceeded that in the treatment applied with the fertilizer of potassium sulfate and potassium and magnesium sulfate.All the first class rate of tobacco in the treatment applied with the fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate exceeded that in the treatments applied with potassium sulfate and compound fertilizer.Compared with potassium sulfate,the fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate increased yield by 97.4~162.3 kg/hm2,rising with 4.4%~7.2%(significant difference).Among 4 kinds of K fertilizer treatments the yield value of flue-cured tobacco in the treatment applied with fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate at 1 643 kg/hm2 took up the 1st position,being 27 555.2 yuan/hm2,increased 3 750.0 yuan/hm2 than that of CK,rising with 15.7%(extremely significant difference).Compared with CK,the net income of the treatment applied with the fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate increased 1 241.0~1 565.0 yuan/hm2,rising with 7.8%~9.9%.[Conclusion] Applying the fertilizer of potassium and magnesium sulfate can improve the biological characters of flue-cured tobacco and has significant effect on yield-and-income increasing for better economic benefit.
