Effects of Different Nitrogen Fertilizer Rate and Planting Density and Remained Leaves on the Economical Characters of Tobacco Variety Guiyan 4

[Objective] The purpose was to investigate the growth law of Guiyan 4 and discuss its matching popularization technique. [Method] In the field test, the quadratic saturation D-optimization design with 3 factors was used to study the nitrogen fertilizer rate and planting density, and remained leaves on the economical characters of tobacco variety Guiyan 4. [Result] The nitrogen fertilizer rate and planting density and remained leaves had great effect on the economical characters such as the tobacco leaf yield, average price and output value per unit area, in which the effect of nitrogen fertilizer rate was most. The effects of planting density and remained leaves on average price of tobacco leaf had little difference. On the field with middle fertility, when the nitrogen fertilizer rate, planting density and remained leaves were 97.50 kg/hm2, 15 630 plants/hm2 and 21.0 pieces/plant the economic yield, average price and output value per unit area of Guiyan 4 were highest, being 2 474.85 kg/hm2, 8.68 yuan/kg and 21 481.65 yuan/hm2. [Conclusion] In view of economical characters such as the tobacco leaf yield, average price and output value per unit area, when Guiyan 4 was popularized in the production, the nitrogen fertilizer rate should be taken as first factor. The optimum combination for planting Guiyan 4 was that the nitrogen fertilizer rate, planting density and remained leaves were 97.50 kg/hm2, 15 630 plants/hm2 and 21.0 pieces/plant.
