Study on the Supercritical CO_2 Extraction of Bee Pollen

XIE Guo-xiu et al (Jiangxi Institute of Labor Sanitation and Occupational Disease Prevention and Treatment,Nanchang,Jiangxi 330006)  
[Objective] The aim of the research was to discuss the application of supercritical CO2 extraction in extracting bee pollen.[Method] The orthogonal design with 4-factor and 3-level and variance analysis were used to study the influences of extracting temperature and extracting pressure on the extraction effects.[Result] The optimum conditions for supercritical CO2 extraction of bee pollen were as follows:the extracting temperature was 50 ℃, the extracting pressure was 20 MPa,the 1st separation temperature was 40 ℃,the 1st separation pressure was 7 MPa,the 2nd separation temperature was 35 ℃,the 2nd separation pressure was 5 MPa and the extracting time was 3 h.[Conclusion] Supercritical CO2 extraction technology had a broad application foreground in the beekeeping production and the processing industry of bee products.
