Study on the Water Collection of Storing Water with Fertilizer in Holes in Apple Orchard in the Hilly and Gully Region of Loess Plateau

[Objective] The aim of the study was to find the technology of storing water with fertilizer in holes suitable for apple orchard in the hilly and gully region of loess plateau.[Method] Eight treatments were assembled with storing water with fertilizer in holes(SWFH) + water collection in tree disks(WCTD),WCTD,no-tillage with film covering for whole year,covering with extraneous grass and with grown grass and clean tillage(CK),the water collection experiment on SWFH was conducted in the apple orchard.[Result] Saving water through SWFH + WCTD and WCTD increased soil nutrients and enhanced the production value of apple.Compared their own contrasts,the apple yield enhanced 9.4%~15.5 %,the soil water productivity increased 0.53~0.89 kg/m3 and the water productivity benefit enhanced 0.26~0.78 yuan/m3 in various treatments of SWFH + WCTD combined with covering.The apple yield enhanced 18.8 %~21.9 %,the soil water productivity increased 0.94~1.33 kg/m3 and the water productivity benefit enhanced 1.45~1.49 yuan/m3 in various treatments of WCTD combined with covering.[Conclusion] The utilization rate of fertilizer and nutrient content in soil could be enhanced effectively by SWFH combined with water-collection by covering.
