HAO Rui-jie et al(Shanxi Agricultural University,Taigu,Shanxi 030801)
[Objective] The purpose of the study was to supply guidance for the production of lily bulblet.[Method] With 2 Oriental lily varieties and 2 Asiatic lily varieties as materials, the planting depths of 5,10 and 15 cm were set up to study the influence of planting depth on the breeding of lily bulblet.[Result] The influence of planting depth on the enlargement multiples of diameter and weight of Asiatic lily had no significant difference and that on the bulblet enlargements of 2 Oriental lily varieties had bigger difference. The bulblet meristic ability of Oriental lily was weaker generally and only that of Baitianshi in Asiatic lily was weaker, but the bulblet rate increased along with the increment of planting depth. The influence of planting depth on the growth of the aerial part of lily bulblet was bigger and the initial time of the aerial part of bulblets planted at the depth of 5 cm was significantly higher than that at the other planting depths, but the late heights were basically accordant.[Conclusion] The planting depth of 10 cm was more suitable for Oriental lily. The relatively deeper planting depth could enhance the generation rate of lily bulblet greatly.
