Research Progress in Instability-overcoming of Fertility in Rape Cytoplasmic Male-sterility System(CMS) in China

The instability of fertility of rape cytoplasmic male-sterility system(CMS) is a complicated issue.It was affected by heredity,geography,climatic and plant condition.The achievements and advancements in overcoming of fertility instability of rape cytoplasmic male-sterility system(CMS) in China were reviewed from four aspects: the cause of formation in fertility Instability,improvement of tradition breeding method,application of new sterility materials and new approach of heterosis utilization in rape.At the same time the prospect of stability of fertility in rape cytoplasmic male-sterility system(CMS) was reviewed.
