Study on Microwave-alkali Water Extraction Technics and Dynamic Content of Total Flavonoids in Syzyginm buxifolium Leaves

[Objective] The study aimed to discover the extraction technics and dynamic content of total flavonoids in Syzyginm buxifolium leaves.[Method] Total flavonoids of Syzyginm buxifolium leaves was extracted by the microwave-alkali water method.And its optimum conditions were found by the single factors experiments and orthogonal test,and the change trend of content in one year was found by ultraviolet spectrophotometry.[Result] Microwave power had significant effect on the extraction rate of total flavonoids,and Alkali water pH value had more significant effect.The optimum extraction conditions of microwave-alkali water method were as follows: The ratio of material to liquid was1∶50,the alkali water pH value was 12,microwave power was 300 W,microwave treatment time was 8 minutes,extracting times was 1 times.Around November,the leaf flavone content reached the peak,but around August it reached the lowest point.[Conclusion]The microwave-alkali water extracting technics was the more effective and economical method to extract Syzyginm buxifolium leaf flavonoids,and the period of best-collecting-leaf was from November to December.
