Influences of Different Treatments on Germination Characteristics of Pueraria lobata

[Objective] The research aimed to study the influences of different treatments on germination characteristics of Pueraria lobata and discuss the effective measure to enhance the germination rate of Pueraria lobata.[Method] The seeds of Pueraria lobata treated by different measures such as rubbing broken seed capsule,seed-soaking and so on,and germinated in incubator with 25 ℃.Each measures was treated by 3 duplications.[Result] The germination rate was the highest when the concentration of potassium nitrate was 30 mmol/L,the next was at 30 mmol/L.Seed-soaking by warm water was more effective to enhance germination force and index than other treatments,and increased seed activity of Pueraria lobata.Compared with CK,all treatments decreased hard rate by different degree,but the ways of rubbing and soaking by concentrated sulfuric acid were most effective.[Conclusion] The measure of seed-soaking by potassium nitrate of 30 mmol/L was more effective to increase germination rate of Pueraria lobata than the others.
