Uncertainty Evaluation of Determination on Copper and Zinc in Soil by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

[Objective] The study aimed to assess the uncertainty of copper and zinc content in soil by atomic absorption spectrometry.[Method] The uncertainty components such as the sampling quantity,volume(container and temperature),mass concentration and mass water content of sample etc.in determining copper and zinc content in soil by atomic absorption spectrometry were quantified and the uncertainty of the content of copper and zinc in soil was figured out by the same way.[Result] The copper content in detected samples was 39.22 mg/kg,its extend uncertainty U(WCu) was 5.14 mg/kg,which was got by that the standard uncertainty(2.57 mg/kg)multiplied containing factor(2).Similarly,the zinc content in detected samples was 51.12 mg/kg,its extend uncertainty U(WCu) was 3.18 mg/kg,which was got by that the standard uncertainty(1.59 mg/kg)multiplied containing factor(2).[Conclusion] The uncertainty caused by mass concentration of sample had a large proportion in the determination,including the uncertainty caused by standard curve and measuring times,which should be paid more attentions during the measuration.
