RAPD Analysis of Several Familiar Ficus Plant in the Western Guangdong

[Objective] The classification and phyletic evolution rule of the Ficus plant was revealed at DNA level.[Method] The polymorphism of genomic DNA of some familiar Ficus Plants in the western Guangdong were analyzed with random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) technology.[Result] The results showed that the polymorphism of the Ficus plants was 72.93%,and the Ficus plants had abundant genetic diversity.[Conclusion] RAPD technology can identify Ficus plant varieties at the molecular level and reveal the relationship and the genetic background of Ficus plant idioplasm resources,at the same time,it can also provide a scientific basis for the cultivation、breeding and the reasonable protection of Ficus plant.
