Efficacy Experiment of 2% Wuyiencin Aqueous Solutions against Cucumber Powdery Mildew

[Objective] The aim of the study is to reveal the control effect of 2% aqueous solution agent of wuyiencin against cucumber powdery mildew.[Method] The 180×,260× and 340× solution of 2% wuyiencin were designed as treatments,meanwhile 500× solution of 50% thiram WP and water were regarded as normal control and blank control,respectively.The drugs were sprayed twice with an interval of 7 d.The incidences of cucumber powdery mildew were investigated before medication,at 7 d after the first spraying,7 d and 14 d after the second spraying for calculating the control effect.[Result] 2% aqueous solution agent of wuyiencin preformed well in controlling the cucumber powdery mildew in field and could availably control the spread of cucumber powdery mildew.Meanwhile,2% aqueous solution agent of wuyiencin presented no phytotoxicity on cucumber,no obvious influence on growth and development of cucumber and no direct influence on other pests or beneficial insects.The application of 260~340× solution of 2% wuyiencin could obtain a better result under lower cost.[Conclusion] 2% aqueous solution agent of wuyiencin is a pollution-free biological pesticide that could be generalized in production due to its efficient control effect against cucumber powdery mildew.
