Study on the Chemical Control of Rhombomys opimus in the Artificial Forest of Haloxylon ammodendron

[Objective] The research aimed to study the control technologies and countermeasures for protecting artifical forest of Haloxylon ammodendron from the harm of Rhombomys opimus.[Method] With 0.5% David(the mother liquid of bromadiolone),Keshuxing 1,Zinc phosphide,Fengshuling and botulinum type C as tested medicaments,the chemical control test was made to R.opimus in the artificial forest of H.ammodendron in Minqin county.The control effects of medicaments were investigated by using the method of stopping up holes.[Result] The control effects of 0.5% David and Zinc phosphide were better,with the corrected killing rate of 88.24% and 83.39% resp.The corrected killing rate of Keshuxing 1 and Botulinum type C were 78.75% and 71.24%,resp.The control effect of Fengshuling was worst and its corrected killing rate was 9.67%.0.5% David had the significant difference with Keshuxing 1 and Botulinum type C(P0.05).And Zinc phosphide had the significant difference with Botulinum type C(P0.05).[Conclusion] 0.5% David,Zinc phosphide and Botulinum type C all had better control effects on R.opimus in the artificial forest of H.ammodendron in Minqin county.
