Extraction and Content Determination of Flavonids in Aloe by Orthogonal Experiment

[Objective] The aim of this paper was to study the optimum extraction conditions and content determination of flavonids in aloe.[Method] The flavonids were extracted from aloe by the method of orthogonal experiment,the absorbance was determined at 510 nm by the 721-spectrophotometer and the content was calculated.[Result] The effect of the extraction was better at 95 ℃ for 2 h by 70% alcohol with the content being 0.184%.[Conclusion] The method of this experiment was fast,accurate and sensitive.The result was valuable for the further development and utilization of aloe resources.
