Analysis of the Landscape Pattern of Forest Resource in Wuqi County

CHEN Hong-tao et al (College of Forestry;Northwest A & F University,Yangling,Shaanxi 712100)  
In the paper the remote sensing image was used as the basic information source.Under the support of GIS and with the landscape ecology,the landscape patterns of the forest resource in Wuqi County was analyzed through the selection of some indexes,such as diversity,dominance,uniformity,degree of fragmentation,resolution,fractional dimension and so on.The result indicated that other shrubberies,the land where the forest had not been grown up and the land being suitable for forest growing were the dominant styles of the forest resource landscape of the whole county.The afforestation efforts were great.The space of forestry development was wide.The landscape ecology system was relatively unstable.
