Variation of Photosynthesis Characteristics of Datura stramonium L. before and after Introduction and Domestication

[Objective] Variation of photosynthesis characteristics of Datura stramonium L.before and after introduction and domestication was researched.[Method] The photosynthesis characteristics of Datura stramonium L.before and after introduction and domestication were compared,including net photosynthetic rate,content of chlorophyll,carotenoid,soluble sugar and soluble protein.[Result] Diurnal uariation of photosynthesis and had Midday Depression of photosynthesis phenomenon.After introduction and domestication net photosynthetic rate and the content of carotenoid were decreased,but the contents of soluble sugar and soluble protein were increased and the content of chlorophyll increased significantly.[Conclusion] The photosynthesis characteristics of Datura stramonium L.were obtained by researching the variation of photosynthesis characteristics before and after domestication.And this research provided evidence and reference.
