Comparative Determination on the Contents of Chlorogenic Acid and Total Flavonoid in Flos lonicera from Ningxia Introducion Area and the Original Area

[Objective] The aim was to provide the basis for the quality evaluation and quality control of Flos lonicera introduced to Ningxia.[Method] With F.lonicera in different florescence stages from its original area of Pingyi County in Shandong Province and its introduction area of Helan County in Ningxia Autonomous Region as tested materials,the chlorogenic acid content was detected by HPLC and the total flavonoid content was detected by spectrophotometry,and then the contents was compared and analyzed.[Result] The chlorogenic acid content of F.lonicera in the white flowering stage from its introduction area was highest,being 3.792% and that in its silver flowering stage from its original area was highest,being 4.076%.The chlorogenic acid content of F.lonicera in its second white flowering stage and silver flowering stage from its original area was higher than that from its introduction area obviously.The total flavonoid content of F.lonicera in different florescence stages from its original area was all higher than that from its introduction area obviously.The total flavonoid content of F.lonicera in its second white flowering stage from its original area was highest,being 1.968% and that in its golden flowering stage from its introduction area was highest,being 1.683%.The difference above was caused by the greater difference existed between the ecological factors such as the lowest average monthly temperature,average yearly precipitation and elevation in Pingyi in Shandong and that in Helan in Ningxia.[Conclusion] The chlorogenic acid content and total flavonoid content of F.lonicera from its original area and introduction area had some differences.
