Study on the Protein Removal of the Crude Polysaccharide from Dendrobium

[Objective] The methods for the effective protein removal of the crude polysaccharide from dendrobium were studied.[Method] Deproteinization rate and polysaccharide loss rate were used as the detecting index.Effects of three different methods on the protein removal by crude polysaccharide from dendrobium were tested.[Result] Trichloroacetic acid showed higher removal percentage of protein and lower loss rate of polysaccharide.[Conclusion] The method was simple and easy to apply,and was suitable for the protein removal in crude polysaccharide from dendrobium.
