Effect of Salt Stress on Morphological and Physiological Characteristics in Wheat Seedlings.

[Objective] The research aimed to study effect of salt stress on morphological and physiological characteristics in wheat seedlings.[Method] In the pot test,With the seedlings of Yangmai158 as tested materials,Spraying different concentrations and different Kinds of salt solution,research salt stress to wheat seedling morphological and physiological characteristic influence.[Results] Different concentrations and different kinds of salt solution had certain degree influence on wheat seedlings,0.1%Na2SO4 promoted leaf and root growth in wheat seedling,the higher NaCl and Na2SO4 inhibited the growth.And chlorophyll content,soluble protein content,soluble sugar content of leave were decreased,proline content was increased.[Conclusion]Low concentration salt stress(0.1%-0.2%) promoted or had not significant effect on the grwoth of wheat seedling ,but higher concentration salt stress(0.2%) had inhibitory effects.
