Acute Toxicity of Different Kinds of Pesticides to Brachydanio rerio and Their Safety Evaluation

[Objective]The aim was to detect the toxicity of different kinds of pesticides to Brachydanio rerio.[Method]With the B.rerio as tested material,the acute toxicity of 10 different kinds of pesticides to B.rerio were detected in the laboratory by the semi-static method and their safety evaluation was made.[Result]The toxicity of different kinds of pesticides to B.rerio was different.But the LC50 value of the tested pesticides was all decreased and the toxicity were all increased with the prolonging of the time.[Conclusion] According to the LC50 value for 96 h,25% fipronil SC and 8% quizalofop-P-ethyl micro-emulsion had high toxicity to B.rerio;10% pyrazolechlor EC,5% hexaconazole SC,40% acetochlor WP,30% iprobenfos WP and 65% buprofezin WP had moderate toxicity to B.rerio; 25% propamocarb WP,300 g/L carbetamide EC and 35% pyrylium · isopropyl WP had low toxicity to B.rerio The research provided the scientific basis for the safety and rational use of the pesticides.
