Screening and Identification of Antagonists Yeast against Root Rot of Flat Peach

[Objective]The research aimed to screen yeast strains against root rot of flat peach.[Method] The primary and secondary screenings were conducted on the antagonistic yeast from fruit,leaf and their rhizosphere soils by in vitro and in vivo methods,and morphological observation and physiological and biochemical identification were conducted on the selected antagonistic yeast L8 against root rot of flat peach.[Result] The L8 separated from leaf had stronger antagonistic action on root rot of flat peach;and inhibition zone reached 17.2 mm under in vitro condition.The rot rate of fruit in vivo only reached 11.11%.It was preliminarily thought that antagonistic yeast L8 against root rot of flat peach belonged to Debaryomyces.[Conclusion]The antagonistic yeast L8 against root rot of flat peach belonged to Debaryomyces and had strong antagonistic action on the pathogen of root rot.
