Research on the Adsorption of Peanut Shell Powder to Cd~(2+) and Pb~(2+) in the Simulation Wastewater

[Objective] The condition of the peanut shell powder as adsorbent to adsorb the Cd2+ and Pb2+ in water solution was researched for the comprehensive utilization of the peanut shell.[Method] The Cd2+ and Pb2+ in simulation wastewater were absorbed by the peanut shell powder as raw materials.[Results] The results showed that the factors such pH value,the initial concentration of Cd2+ and Pb2+ in wastewater,adsorption time and other could affect the absorption effect of peanut shell powder.At the initial concentration of Cd2+ and Pb2+ of 30 mg/L,pH value of 6,stirred for 2 hours,the removal rate of Cd2+ and Pb2+ was 92.2% and 90.0%,respectively,while the amount of peanut shell powder added was 0.25 g.[Conclusion] The adsorption isotherm pf peanut shell powder to the Cd2+ and Pb2+ met the Langmuir model.
