Effects of Nitrogen Application on Growth and Yield of Super Rice

[Objective]The study aimed to study effects of nitrogen application with different ratio at earlier and later stages on super rice yield,leaf area index and dry matter accumulation.[Method]Rice yield of Ningjing 3 were investigated by applying nitrogen at different growth stages during whole growth duration.[Result] The nitrogen application with the ratio of basal and tiller fertilizer and spikelets-protecting fertilizer of 6∶4 or 5∶5 could not only enhance panicle per unit area,glumous flowers and grain-leaf ratio,but also promote material accumulation from jointing to heading and heading to maturity.[Conclusion] The nitrogen application with the ratio of basal and tiller fertilizer and spikelets-protecting fertilizer of 6∶4 or 5∶5 could increase yield.
