Studies on Introduction and Utilized Techniques of Naked Oat(Avena nuda Linn.) in Henan Province

[Objective]The research aimed to study the introduction and utilized techniques of Naked Oat(Avena nuda Linn.) in Henan Province,provide reference for popularizing and applying 2 species of Naked oats(Neinongda Oats-l and Neinongda Oats-2) from Inner Mongolia to Henan Yellow River beach.[Method] 2 species of nude oats,Neinongda Oats-l and Neinongda Oats-2,were introduced to Henan Yellow River beach to study adaptability,growth characters,biological principles and productivities,and approached possibilities and necessities of extension of Naked Oats in Henan Province by introduction trials.[Result] The photosynthetic ability,plant height and LAI of Neinongda Oats-l and Neinongda Oats-2 were all enhanced and dry matter rates were decreased when Naked Oats were introduced to Henan Province.Forage yield and grain yield of Neinongda Oats-1 grown in Henan were 1 578.4,457.6 g DM/m2 and increased by 33.3% and 20.8% compared to Neinongda Oats-1 grown in Inner Mongolia.Forage yield and grain yield of Neinongda Oats-2 grown in Henan were 1 462.7,481.7gDM/m2 and increased by 21.6% and 26.0% compared to that grown in the original place(Inner Mongolia).[Conclusion] Neinongda Oats-l and Neinongda Oats-2 could adapt to the soil and climate conditions of Yellow River beach of Henan Province well with quicker growth rate and higher production level,and showed better productivities than that in original place and they were suitable for extension in Henan Yellow River beach.
