Malonyl Dialdehyde Changes of Alfalfa under Salt Stress

SUN Wei-ze et al (College of Animal Science and Technology,Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University,Yangling,Shaanxi 712100)  
[Objective] The research aimed to provide scientific references for the salt tolerance breeding and rescources development of Medicago sativa L.[Method] 14 alfalfa varieties were selected from domestic and abroad to carry out salt tolerance experiment.And the changes of MDA in leaves and roots were measured at different treatment time.[Result] The results showed that Sitel,Derby,Alfalfa King and Gold Empress had better salt tolerance.Queen,WH323ML,Haygrazer,Algonquin,WL323HQ and Guyuan alfalfa were next.And WL324,Sanditi,WL232HQ and Defy had worst salt tocerance.[Conclusion] Salt tolerance varieties obtained in this study needed field experiments to verify.
