Study on NDVI Changes in Sichuan Basin Based on Landsat

HUANG Xue-feng et al(Economics and Management College,Sichuan Agricultural Unviersity,Yaan,Sichuan 625014)  
Based on Landsat remote sensing data,normalization difference vegetation index(NDVI) was calculated.Combining with spatial analysis technology,NDVI dynamic evolution characteristics of Dongpo District and Renshou County in Meishan City that represent for the plain and hilly landscape of Sichuan Basin respectively were studied.The results showed that NDVI assumed the fluctuation changes and it showed an overall rising performance.Except 1975,NDVI in Renshou County was higher than that in Dongpo Dsitrict,which showed that NDVI in hilly areas was higher than plain.NDVI changes were closely related with the environmental policy,the agricultural policy and the rural economy conditions.The ecology of hilly area was frailest and water is the most important limit factor.
