Effect of Beta-cypermethrin on Lysozyme Activity in Serum of Grass Carp

[Objective] The aim was to research the effect of beta-cypermethrin on the healthy of grass carp on the physiological and biochemical level.[Method] With the healthy grass carps that propagated in the same batch,bred in the same pool with normal body color,body weight of 85-115 g and body length of 1220 cm as the tested materials,they were explored to beta-cypermethrin with different concn.(0(CK),0.5,1.0,3.0,5.0 μg/L).The change of lysozyme(LSZ) activity of grass carps was studied after 1,5,12 d of the treatment.[Result] The beta-cypermethrin concn.had time-effect relationship with LSZ activity of grass carp.When grass carps were explored for 1 d,their LSZ activity in each treatment was increased significantly(P0.05).When grass carps were explored for 5 d, their LSZ activity in each treatment had no significantly change(P0.05).When grass carps were explored for 12 d,their LSZ activity in each treatment was decreased significantly(P0.05).[Conclusion] Beta-cypermethrin had obviously toxic effect on grass carp.
