Analysis on Anti-oxidized Activity of Flavonoid from Honeysuckle

[Objective] The study was to provide the theoretical basis for the development and utilization of flavonoid from honeysuckle.[Method] With honeysuckle from market as the material,the flavonoid in it was extracted with 60% ethanol after it was dried and grinded.The refined flavonoid was obtained after the crude flavonoid was purified.Flavonoid contents in crude and refined flavonoid were determined,and the anti-oxidized activity of flavonoid was determined in pig oil and linoleic acid system.[Result] The yield rates of crude and refined flavonoid powder from honeysuckle were 45% and 7.2% resp.Flavonoid content in crude flavonoid powder was 20.3% and that in refined flavonoid powder was 43.21%.The flavonoid from honeysuckle could block the self-oxidation of linoleic acid and pig oil,and the more the addition amount of flavonoid was,the higher the purity of flavonoid was,the better its anti-oxidized activity was.[Conclusion] The flavonoid from honeysuckle had obvious anti-oxidized activity.
