Rural Electricity Consumption Demand Forecasting Based on Support Vector Machine

A method of rural electricity consumption demand forecasting based on support vector machine has been proposed.This method took full advantage of SVM's ability to solve the problem with nonlinear and small sample,the better generalization capability and the highter prediction accuracy were guaranteed.An example was given to testify the validity of this method.
