Statistic Analysis of Discrimination on Clouds in Shengyang Area with Depression of Dew Point

With sounding data in May and June of 2004 and July and August in 2005 from Shenyang observatory and three-dimensional volume scans data from new generation weather radar in Qipanshan Mountain,the occurring frequency of clouds was statisticed from aspects of different temperature and altitude range and depression of dew point according to barometric height formula and relationship between relative humidity and depression of dew point.The dualistic and quadric regression and history matching of the statistical data was conducted,and then the indexes of depression of dew point of the identified clouds in Summer in Shengyang area under different temperature and altitude condition were obtained,and the relative height range and the temperature of cloud top in Shenyang area in future could be obtained after comparison of the indexes and depression of dew point in numerical forecast products.According that,the artificial precipitation potential of the precipitation cloud system in future could be judged and the operation scheme for artificial precipitation could be made.
