Study on Dust-retention Ability of the Common Greening Tree Species in Changchun

DU Shuang-yang et al (College of Horticulture,Jilin Agriculture University,Changchun,Jinlin 130118)  
Through studying the dust-blocking effect of the 20 common greening tree species in Changchun,the results showed that the dust reduce quantity in different greening tree species have biggest differences,because the leaf characteristics,morphology of branch leaves and the im-pact factor of surrounding environment etc have biggest differences. Among these Sabina chinensis,Prunus maackii and Ligustrum obtusifolium,the plants which have the strongest dust-blocking effect are Sabina chinensis,Prunus maackii and Ligustrum obtusifolium,and the dust reduce quantity can get to 13. 46,11. 15 and 7. 74 g/m2. Prunnus davidiana and Philadelphus shrenkii Rupr. have the relatively weaker dust-blocking effect,their dust reduce quantity were 0. 367 5 and 0. 432 6 g/m2 respectively. The dust-blocking effect in the different Planting sites of the same greening tree species was having biggest differences. The dust-blocking effect of the same greening tree species in the road obviously higher than they in the park.
