Study on the Extraction of Lentinus edodes and Ganoderma lucidum Mycelia Polysaccharides and the Compound Anti-oxidative Activity

[Objective] The scientific basis of better utilization of Lentinus edodes and Ganoderma lucidum mycelia polysaccharides was provided through the research.[Method] The Lentinus edodes and Ganoderma lucidum mycelia was produced by way of the submerged fermentation method.The optimal extraction conditions of polysaccharides were investigated with the orthogonal test and also the anti-oxidative activity of two polysaccharides after their compound was studied.[Results] The optimal extraction conditions of intracellular polysaccharides from Lentinus edodes mycelia was as follows: the rate of the material to solution,1∶10;the extraction time,4 hours and the extraction temperature,90 ℃;under which condition,the highest extraction ratio was 10.3%.The optimal extraction condition of intracellular polysaccharides from Ganoderma lucidum mycelia was as follows: the rate of the material to solution,1∶20;the extraction time,3.5 hours and the extraction temperature,90 ℃;under which condition,the highest extraction ratio was 10.3%.The optimal extraction condition of hot water method was the ratio of the material and fluid,1∶20;the extraction time,3.5 hours;the extraction temperature,90 ℃;under which,the most extraction ratio of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides was 17.2%.The highest scavenging activity of compound polysaccharides to hydroxyl was 62.89% when the ratio of Lentinus edodes and Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides was 1∶1,which was 50% higher than what acted by single polysaccharides.[Conclusion] The compound of two different polysaccharides based on a rational ration could obviously enhance the scavenging action of free radicals.
