Homogeneity Test on Temperature Series in Liaoning Province

XU Zhi-xin et al(Regional Climate Center of Shenyang,,Shenyang,Liaoning 110016)  
The homogeneity test of annual mean temperature series was carried out using mean temperature over Liaoning Province from 1961 to 2008 by means of SNHT,cumulative-departure and rank test.The reasons of inhomogeneity were analyzed with the metadata information of 48 weather stations.The results showed that all of the three methods were valid for inhomogeneity tests of temperature sequences,and rank test had certain complementary with SNHT test.Station relocation was the significant reason for inhomogeneity,which mainly occurred in 1970 s$$$$
