Research on the Relationship between the Maturity and the Routine Chemical Compound of Flue-cured Tobacco Leaf

[Objective] The relations between the maturity and routine chemical compound of flue-cured tobacco leaf was studied.[Method] The maturity degree of tobacco,selected beyond C3F level,was ranked according to GB2635-92 standards and the chemical composition in the tobacco sample was analyzed with the continuous flow analyzer.[Results] The results showed that there was the obvious difference between the maturity of tobacco leaf and routine chemical compound among varieties; negative relationship between the maturity of tobacco leaf and the content of reduced sugar,Cl; positive relationship between the maturity of tobacco leaf and the content of chlorine,K,respectively; and not correlation between the maturity of tobacco leaf and TN.[Conclusion] All of indexes of the flue-cured tobacco leaf were in reasonable range when its maturity was in 87%-90%.
