Occurrence and Control of Carya illinoensis Trunk Borers

Through the investigation on the Carya illinoensis trunk borers in Yunnan province,the morphology,symptoms and occurrence law of Batocera horsfieldi Hope,Apriona germari Hope,Zeuzera leuconotum Butle and Lepidarbela dea Swinhoe were described,and the damage characteristics of the four kinds of borers were also compared in this paper.Some direction control methods such as strengthening the forecast and silvicultural,physical,artificial,chemical and biological were put forward.
