Study on the Technology of Extraction in "Qinghai 444" Oat Saponin

TU Lan-ying et al (School of Chemical Engineering Qinghai Universty,Xining,Qinghai 810016)  
[Objective] The technology condition of extracting saponin from oat by the method of soxhlet extraction was studied.[Method] The saponin were extracted by ethanol-butanol as the solvent from oat and the content was determined by spectrophotometry.Orthogonal experiment was used to study the extraction technology of saponin in oat.Effects of solid-liquid ratio,ethanol concentration,extraction temperature on extraction rate of saponin were studied.[Result] The optimal extracting conditions of oat saponin were established as follows: solid-liquid ratio 1∶7,ethanol concentration 70%,extraction temperature 60 ℃;under these conditions,the extraction ratio was 2.504%;the influence order of extraction rate was ethanol concentrationsolid-liquid ratioextraction temperature.[Conclusion] The method had many advantages listed below: convenient in operation,easy access,and possessed of popularization and application value.
