Active Ingredients from Metabolite of Datura arborea Entophytic Fungi and Its Anti-dermal Pathogenic Fungi Activities

[Objective]Antibiotic activities of metabolite of entophytic fungi strain Ym311977 isolated from the Datura arborea and its active ingredients were studied.[Method] Ym311977 was large-scale cultured in the liquid PDA media,and anti-dermal pathogenic fungi activities in vitro of single compounds which were separated from ferment outcomes were tested.[Result] One of four compounds separated from ferment outcome could inhibit the growth of Microsporum gypseum and Trichophyton gypseum,minimum inhibitory concentration were 50,200 μg/ml respectively.Through the identification by 1HNMR and 13CNMR,the structure of single compound was 5-Butylpicolinic acid,named fusaric acid.[Conclusion] It was the first time reported that fusaric acid could inhibit the growing of Microsporum gypseum and Trichophyton gypseum which were isolated from the metabolite of Datura arborea entophytic fungi.
