Discussion on Effects of El Nino Event on Climate in Shenyang

WANG Mei-na et al(Atmosphere Science Department of Nanjing University,Nanjing,Jiangsu 210093)
Based on analysis of temperature, precipitation, rainstorm days and climate extremum in Shenyang during 1951-2005,the effects of E1 nino events on climate in Shenyang were discussed. The results showed that in the year of E1 nino, temperature showed low trend, after that, temperature showed high trend.Normally, during the period before E1 nino to peak period, the rainfall is abundant, temperature is low.In the next year of E1 nino, rainfall is low, sunshine is abundant, temperature is high.Sometimes, drought, high temperature with low rain etc.disaster years would occurred.
