Rsearch on the Extraction Technology of Tea Polysaccharide from Longjing Tea

[Objective] The research aimed to supply theoretical basis for industrialized production of tea polysaccharide from Longjing tea.[Method] With Longjing tea as raw material,its polysaccharide was extracted by decoction and alcohol sedimentation technique,the effects of extraction temperature,extraction time,material-to-liquid ratio and alcohol sedimentation concn.on the yield of polysaccharide were investigated through single-factor experiments and the optimum extraction technology of tea polysaccharide was confirmed through orthogonal test.[Result] The results from single-factor experiments showed that the highest yield of polysaccharide was 3.842% when the extraction temperature was 85 alcohol sedimentation concn.when the alcohol sedimentation concn.was 90%.The results from orthogonal test showed that the effects of all the factors on the yield of polysaccharide were as follows: extraction temperaturematerial-to-liquid ratio alcohol sedimentation concn.extraction time.The optimum extraction technology of tea polysaccharide from Longjing tea was extracting at 85 ℃ for 2 h under the precondition with material-to-liquid ratio of 1∶40 and alcohol sedimentation concn.of 90%.The yield of tea polysaccharide could reach 6.333% under this condition.[Conclusion] The extraction technology of tea polysaccharide from Longjing tea was optimized in this research.
