[Objective] The research aimed to provide theoretical basis for further study on the chemical components of liposoluble pinenut shell pigments from Pinus koraiensis.[Method] With silica gel as sorbent, the liposoluble pinenut shell pigments from P.koraiensis was separated and purified by using solvent gradient elution. The separation effects of liposoluble pinenut shell pigments from P.koraiensis by using silica gel column chromatography were discussed.[Result] The best extraction solvent for liposoluble pinenut shell pigments from P.koraiensis was 95% ethanol. After preliminary separation and purification of liposoluble pinenut shell pigments from P.koraiensis,26 eluting materials were obtained.Strong absorption appeared at the wavelength of 250 and 270 nm and no significant absorption was seen in visible light area.It was concluded that these substances were mainly flavonoids compounds.[Conclusion] Better separation effects of liposoluble pinenut shell pigments from P.koraiensis were obtained by using silica gel column chromatography.
