The Application and Progress of Geochemical Indicators in the Study of Loess Environmental Evolution

JIA Yao-feng et al (College of Management, North University for Nationalities, Yinchuan, Ningxia 750021)
Loess deposition in China has recorded the histories of the environmental evolution in the Loess Plateau and other areas of the world since the recent 2.6 Ma. It is very important to reconstruct the history of environmental evolution for forecasting the climatic changing trend and to guide economical construction and environmental restoration in these areas. Loess geochemical indicator is an important way to reconstruct the history of climate-environment evolution. Based on the purpose of further study, the paper tries to sum the application and progress of loess geochemical indicators in the study of environmental evolution in recent years.
