Study on Integrated Environmental Regionalization Based on Land Ecological Suitability Assessment

TANG Yan-qiu et al(Chongqing Institute of Environmental Science,Chongqing 401147)
Integrated environmental function regionalization is the important basis for the implementation of environment classification management, but there are few studies on how to carry it out for now.Taking Chongqing New North Zone as a study case, based on the application of GIS and RS technology,a set of indicators of land ecological suitability assessment was established, and the suitability assessment of a single factor of the land-use status, elevation, slope, rolling, roughness and woodland landscape was carried out,and a comprehensive land ecological suitability assessment was formed through overlaying of all single factor assessment layers. The results of assessment showed that the land can be divided into five types, namely, the most suitable, suitable, generally suitable, unsuitable and the most unsuitable.Based on the results of ecological suitability assessment, integrated environmental regionalization in Chongqing New North Zone was carried out,and environmental protection measures for differential were proposed according to environmental function zoning, which was an exploration of the regional integrated environmental zoning.
