Studies on Influencing Factors for Sludge Reduction Induced by Tubificidae

[Objective] The aim was to explore influencing factors for sludge reduction induced by Tubificidae.[Method] According to different sources and different sludge concentration of the activated sludge,effects of sludge reduction induced by Tubificidae were investigated through the batch experimental.[Result] The MLVSS/MLSS value was one key factor affecting the sludge reduction induced by Tubificidae.Significant differences on sludge reduction induced by Tubificidae in different sludge concentrations of activated sludge,and more apparent in high sludge concentration,it had a good linear relationship with the value of Y and initial MLVSS.[Conclusion] The research provides theoretical basis for the practical application of sludge reduction induced by Tubificidae.
