Studies on Characteristics of Salix matsudana Community Structure on the Copper Tailings Wasteland

Salix matsudana community structure in Yueshan copper tailings wasteland was investigated and analyzed in Anqing.The research results showed that there were 24 species of higher plants in the investigation areas,which belonged to 13 families and 24 genera.S.matsudana was dominant specie among the woody plants,and I.cylindrica,P.australis and Typha angustifolia were dominant species among herbaceous plants.The important value of S.matsudana was 2.34,which was higher than that of other woody plants in this community.S.matsudana was the constructive species and dominant species,so this community should be named S.matsudana community.The community diversity index was low,its Simpson index was 0.615 3,Shannon-Wiener index was 2.557 0 and Evenness index was 0.193 6,respectively.The results indicated S.matsudana community structure in the copper tailings was simple and unstable,diversity index was low,belonging to the early succession stage from herbaceous plant community to woody plant community.
