Investigation of Zwittermicin A Adsorption Kinetics by D151 Cation Exchange Resin

[Objective]To study the adsorption behavior of Zwittermicin A by D151 cation exchange resin.[Method]The static adsorptionwas used to study the adsorption kinetics and the controlling step of Zwittermicin A by D151 cation exchange resin.[Result]The kinetics re-sult showed that the adsorption fitted well to the pseudo-first order reaction equation of lagergren.The ion exchange process apparent activationenergy(En) was controlled by ion diffusion through particles,and the apparent activation energy(En) was calculated to be 16.21 kJ/mol,and the enthalpy change(△H) was-17.58 kJ/mol and the enthalpy change(△S) was-12.20 J/(mol.K).[Conclusion]The adsorptionof Zwittermicin A by cation exchange resin was a spontaneous exothermic process.
