Spatial Variability of Soil Salt Ions in the South Coast of Laizhou Bay Based on Geostatistics

The analysis of soluble salt in soil is an important foundation work in the research of salt dynamic monitoring of salinized soil and the prevention of soil salinization.This study chose the south coast of Laizhou Bay as the research object,measured the spatial variability of salt ions by using geostatistics,and made the spatial distribution map of salt contents by using Kriging method.The results indicated that Cl-showed strong spatial variability,while other ions showed moderate spatial variability;each salt ions exhibited moderate spatial autocorrelation due to the joint action of structural and stochastic factors,and little difference was observed in the autocorrelation distance of each salt ion;each salt ion showed double rank trend at east-west direction,salt ions showed double rank trend on the north-south direction except for SO42-which showed one rank trend;the spatial structure of most salt ions was good as showed in the Kriging interpolation maps,ions content in the east was significantly lower than in ther directions.The results provided theoretical basis for the prevention,amelioration and utilization of salinized soil in Laizhou Bay area.
