Correlation Analysis on Yield and Quality Traits in Aerobic Rice(Oryza sativa L.)

[Objective] In order to understand the correlation between aerobic rice canopy photosynthetic available radiation(PAR),leaf area index(LAI) and its yield.[Method] Canopy PAR and LAI and yield of new aerobic rice strains were determined by sunscan canopy analyzer.[Result] Rice canopy PAR was in 223.53-262.23 μmol/(m2·s) in the paddy fields planting condition,and 119.62-185.74 μmol/(m2·s) in dry cultivation condition,and all strains had higher yield.Rice yield were both lower whether PAR was a little lower or too higher.For most rice strains,their yield improved gradually along with continuously increasing of LAI.[Conclusion] If aerobic rice obtains high yield,it canopy PAR should be in a certain range,PAR too high and too low are not easily reach the goal of high yield.LAI has a positive relationship with yield.
